Charity Bracelets

I have designed the most adorable (if I do say so myself) charity bracelets for sale.

Bracelet prices range between KD 25 - KD 95. All profits from the sales will go towards Bayt Abdullah Children's Hospice!

In 2004, KACCH (Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital)decided to expand their efforts by creating the Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice, under the umbrella of KACCH, to accommodate the needs of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families, in Kuwait. The hospice building itself is part of a continuum of care that offers children and their families the maximum freedom of choice without compromising the quality of that care, whether at home in hospital or within the hospice itself.

This fully comprehensive service will offer day care facilities, residential respite, emergency and terminal care The design has focused on the needs of children and their families with the emphasis on an attractive, child friendly, inter-active environment and a comfortable, homely atmosphere, supported by trained, highly skilled pediatric nursing and medical staff.

KACCH needs to raise another 6 million KD to get the hospice up and running and I am trying to do my part to help.

WALL-E

Just went and saw WALL-E with a friend at a theater in Brussels. I heard a lot of talk that the movie is amazing, and that people had gone more than once. So I took a chance; eventhough I love cartoons, I'm not very big on sci-fi. I thought the movie was funny and cute. My friend clearly loved it as she would not stop saying EEEVVA! I on the other hand was a little stressed over work and tired.

I can't give the movie the rating I gave KUNG FU PANDA, but it still deserves a good one, because not only was it funny and cute as I mentioned earlier I thought it sent a good message across to our world. It drives me crazy when I see people throw trash on the floor or when I go out to sea, and we definitely need to remind ourselves not to be so lazy and count so much on technology. I am the epitomy of laziness (and my family can attest to that), but I also try and keep active.

GET SMART

Action comedy. One word. Disappointing! I hated it. I might have laughed, but I remember leaving very unsatisfied. I think the whole idea of remaking Get Smart was good, but the story wasn't. 1 star :(

KUNG FU PANDA

This is a kid's cartoon movie, but can also be categorized as HILARIOUS! I was dying to see it JUST from the trailer. LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!!! Could not stop laughing. I think I was the loudest in the movie. Can't wait to buy it so I can watch it with my Mom. 4 STARS!

FOOL'S GOLD

EH! It's funny. Adventurous, but a little boring. The spoiled daughter? Seriously? Sorry Mathew and Kate ... I love you both, but ... 2 stars :(

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS

I have been waiting for a movie in which Ashton Kutcher literally SHINES! Whoever decided to give him the part ... BRAVO! .. Cameron Diaz and Kutcher truly made it hilariously fun to watch. My niece borrowed it without telling me and I was going to kill her! I was dying to watch it and it had disappeared. Can't wait to watch it for the 6th time when I get home. 4 stars!

PENELOPE

Very imaginative. Great lesson. Love yourself for who you are, and stop caring about what people think. Easier said than done in some situations I must admit. I love Christina Ricci, and her outfits in the movie were classic! i.e. I definitely admired them. 3 stars!
